Aiplane Private Pilot Course – PPL (A)

Course to obtain a Private Pilot License PPL (A). It is intended for individuals without previous experience who want to fly unpaid for sport or leisure purposes.

This course also serves as a basis for later obtaining other licenses and ratings such as Commercial Pilot CPL (A) and Airline Transport Pilot ATPL (A).

PREREQUISITES:
  • 16 years old before the first flight and 17 years old by the time the license is issued.
  • Class 2 Medical Certificate (The school will provide students contact information for approved healthcare centers).
LENGTH:

From 4 to 6 months, depending on the student’s learning time and availability.

THEORY-BASED CONTENT:

100 hours of theoretical knowledge:

  • Air Law
  • General Aircraft Knowledge
  • Flight Planning and Performance
  • Human Factors and Aviation Medicine
  • Meteorology
  • Principles of Flight
  • Communications and Radiotelephony
  • Navigation
  • Operational Procedures
PRACTICE-BASED CONTENT:
  • 40 flight hours on basic single engine aircraft
  • 5 flight hours on FNPT-II simulator.
  • Final exam with licensed evaluator.

SEP (land) – Single Engine Piston Aircraft Class Rating
